Fit, measured.

The tee runs short and the pant runs long — on purpose, by a known amount. Measure a tee you already like, or your body, and the finder returns the size, the number it's based on, and the ease in inches. Where the run has no answer, it says so.

One silhouette.

It runs short.

Length-to-chest ratio is 1.03 — a Medium is 24.41 in long on a 23.62 in flat chest. A conventional tee runs closer to 1.25, so this is roughly 3.5–4 in shorter than you're used to. Sizing up adds 1.58 in of chest and only 0.79 in of length, so the usual fix doesn't work.

Computed from the chart: ratio 1.03, grade +1.58 in chest around and +0.79 in length per size.

It runs long.

"Length" on the chart is an outseam — waistband to hem — not an inseam. It runs 40.55 in (S) to 43.70 in (2XL): 3.15 in across the whole size run against ten inches of customer height. Under about 5'6" expect 2.5–4 in of extra length stacking on the shoe.

Computed from the chart: 3.15 in of outseam across five sizes, +1.56 in hip around per size.

Cropped boxy top over a long straight leg. That's the shape the two garments make together, and it's why the Set is sized as two pieces: the tee model wears an L, the pant model a 2XL.

Both measurement systems.

Customers measure bodies. We cut garments. Both tables, both units, both garments.

Where each number is taken.

The manufacturer's own definitions, reproduced. Lay the garment flat and measure the same way to compare.

Boxy tee laid flat with measurement lines: A length, B shoulder, C chest, D sleeveABCD

The tee, laid flat

A
Length. Shoulder seam at the collar, straight down to the hem.
B
Shoulder. Shoulder seam to sleeve on one side, across to the other.
C
Chest, flat. Stitches just below the armpit, one side to the other, laid flat.
D
Sleeve. Shoulder seam at the armhole, down to the cuff.
Chest around = flat × 2. That is the number to compare with your own chest.
Straight-leg pant laid flat with measurement lines: E outseam, F waist, G hipEFG

The pant, laid flat

E
Length (outseam). Waistband to hem, down the outside of the leg. This is NOT an inseam.
F
Waist, flat. Straight across the narrowest waist line, edge to edge, relaxed.
G
Hip, flat. Straight across the widest hip line, edge to edge.
Waist and hip around = flat × 2. The waist is elastic and stretches well past its relaxed number.

The size the finder will give you.

The same answer as a table, with the ease each size delivers. Body measurement down the left, how you want it to sit across the top. Every cell keeps the band it promises; “not available” means no size in the run lands in that band, and the finder says the same thing out loud.

  • Close = 79 in of chest ease. As fitted as this cut gets. Still a drop shoulder, still boxy through the body, but it reads like a regular tee.
  • As cut = 1013 in of chest ease. The look in the photos. Off the shoulder, hangs straight, sits at the high hip.
  • Roomy = 1417 in of chest ease. Deliberately oversized. Sleeve lands near the elbow and the body is a box.

  • Straight = 35 in of hip ease. Trim through the hip and thigh — close to the supplier's "Regular." The leg still falls straight.
  • As cut = 68 in of hip ease. Room through the hip, a clean straight drop. Stacks a little at the shoe.
  • Baggy = 1013 in of hip ease. The look in the photos — deep, deliberate, pooled at the ankle.

Fit notes, per intent.

The Everything Tee

Close
Close means 7–9 inches of chest ease — about what a regular tee gives you. On this cut the shoulder still drops and the body still squares off, so it reads boxy, not slim. It sits at the high hip. Between sizes, take the smaller one.
As cut
As cut is 10–13 inches of ease — the look on the models. The shoulder seam lands on the upper arm, the body hangs straight, and the hem sits at the high hip or above. Sizing up for length barely works: each size adds 1.58 in of chest but only 0.79 in of length.
Roomy
Roomy is 14–17 inches of ease — a box. Above about a 40-inch chest the size run can't deliver it; 2XL is the ceiling and the Fit Finder will say so rather than round. Expect the sleeve near the elbow.

The Everything Pant

Straight
Straight is 3–5 inches of hip ease — trim, close to the supplier's "Regular." The waist is elastic with a drawstring and stretches, so buy on hip, not waist. The leg falls straight and will still stack unless you're over about 6'0".
As cut
As cut is 6–8 inches of hip ease. The hip has room, the leg drops clean and straight, and there's a little stack at the shoe on most heights. Sizing down for length also takes hip room away — there is no clean length fix inside this run.
Baggy
Baggy is 10–13 inches of hip ease — what the model is wearing. It disappears above a 36-inch hip because the garment grades 1.58 in per size against roughly 3 in body steps. Where it isn't available, the Fit Finder says so.

Between sizes, and after the wash.

Between sizes, the finder shows the ease for the size it names; the next size up adds 1.58 in around on either garment. There is no house default yet — we state one after measuring the sample, not before.

Both garments are being washed five times and re-measured. The tee is 100% cotton, not stated preshrunk; the pant is a cotton-polyester blend that should move less. The chart numbers are pre-wash. Shrinkage figures publish here when they're measured, not estimated.

A 1–3 cm difference between two garments in the same size is normal and stated by the manufacturer, as is minor batch variation in fabric, dye, and processing.

How we think about fit: every size question gets answered before the order, with a number. A return on a garment shipped internationally costs more than the margin on the sale, so the honest answer — including “the run doesn't go there” — is also the cheap one.

Asked a lot.

How should a boxy tee fit?

With 10–13 inches of chest ease and the shoulder seam on the upper arm — that's the Everything Tee as cut. Close is 7–9 inches of ease; roomy is 14–17. It sits at the high hip: a Medium is 24.41 in long on a 23.62 in flat chest, a length-to-chest ratio of 1.03 against a conventional tee's 1.25.

How do I size sweatpants baggy?

Size on hip, not waist, and aim for 10–13 inches of hip ease — that's what the pant model wears (6'2", 143 lb, 2XL). It works up to about a 36-inch hip; above that the run can't give that much ease, and the finder says so. Length is an outseam and changes only 3.15 in across the run, so check the stack estimate for your height.

What is the difference between garment and body measurements?

Garment measurements are the flat dimensions of the piece — what we cut. Body measurements are the person it fits. The gap between them is the ease, and the ease is the fit. Conflating the two is the most common sizing mistake on small-brand sites, which is why both tables are published, labeled.

Should I size up in the Everything Tee for length?

No. Each size adds 1.58 in of chest but only 0.79 in of length, so two sizes up buys 1.58 in of length and costs 3.16 in of width. Choose the width you want and wear the length as cut.
