Why is it called the Flint?
Flint is what you strike to start a fire. Our named pieces follow the fire: you strike the Flint, the Spark catches, the Ember holds the heat. This is the striking piece — the one you put on to get the day lit.
Why a raglan sleeve?
The diagonal seam comes from baseball — it gives the shoulder its full range instead of a seam sitting right on top of it. More reach, fewer rules about what you do in it.
